Promotion of Child Pornography

Osceola County (August 21, 2020) On May 4, 2020, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office received a cyber tip from NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children). Detectives with the ICAC Unit (Internet Crimes Against Children) began an investigation into the cyber tip. Detectives obtained probable cause to obtain a search warrant for 40 Alicante Court, Poinciana, FL. Based on evidence seized from the search warrant, an arrest warrant was obtained for Luis Alejandro Ortiz Gonzalez for 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and 1 count of Promotion of Child Pornography. Ortiz Gonzalez did cooperate with the investigation. On August 20, 2020, Ortiz Gonzalez was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail with an $11,000.00 bond.
