Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material

Osceola County, Fla. (February 2026) — The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) of an escalated CyberTip involving an individual suspected of possessing child sexual abuse material. Upon receipt of the CyberTip, detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit immediately initiated an investigation.

On February 6, 2026, ICAC detectives served a residential search warrant at a residence located in the Broadmoor Mobile Home Park in Kissimmee, Florida. As a result of the investigation, the suspect was identified as Billyjack Thibodeau.

During the execution of the search warrant, detectives located and seized multiple electronic devices belonging to Thibodeau. Based on evidence obtained during a forensic examination, Thibodeau was charged with twenty-five (25) counts of Possession of Photo/Video of Sexual Performance by a Child, as well as Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device.

Thibodeau was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail with no bond. This investigation remains ongoing. Cases like this serve as a sobering reminder that even a single incident of online exploitation is one too many.

In recognition of Safer Internet Day, observed tomorrow, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office underscores the critical importance of online safety and parental involvement.
