Captain Heith Yeager began his law enforcement career in 1999 and has proudly served with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office since 2006. He started as a patrol deputy and advanced through the ranks, earning promotions to Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Captain. Throughout his career, Captain Yeager has gained extensive experience in patrol operations, criminal investigations, community services, School Resource Officer assignments, the Intelligence Unit, and the Training and Recruiting Units. He also served on the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force.
As both a Sergeant and Lieutenant, he supervised patrol operations, the Intelligence Unit, and Community Services. He currently serves as the Commander of the Emergency Response Team.
Captain Yeager holds a master’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia College and is a graduate of Valencia College’s Public Safety Development and Leadership Course. Prior to his law enforcement career, he served four years in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman and received an honorable discharge.
A lifelong resident of Osceola County, Captain Yeager is deeply committed to serving his community and supporting his fellow coworkers.
