On April 7, 2006, just after 10:00 am, The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to Lake Tohopekaliga Road in reference to a suspicious incident. Upon arrival, deputies located what appeared to be a female decedent, who was later identified as Lorena Perez. The victim had been murdered and had been disposed of at the location.
