On May 4, 2022, deputies responded to the parking lot of Vans Beauty Salon located at 4402 S. Orange Blossom Trail in Kissimmee regarding a shooting. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit responded and took over the investigation. Two victims were transported to the hospital, where later, one of the victims, Windlyn Montilus, was pronounced deceased.
On June 16, 2022, detectives served arrest warrants for Omar Yasser-Mohamed Abdelaal, Mordlin Zache Docline, and Darryl Joyshon Blasie. They were all charged with Murder, Robbery with a Firearm, and Armed Burglary Conveyance. All three were booked into the Osceola County Department of Corrections on a zero bond.
