Celebration High School Coach Arrested for Sexual Misconduct with Students

Osceola County, FL – On March 29, 2023, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Special Crimes Unit received a report of a student at Celebration High School coming forward in reference to a baseball coach having indecent, lewd, or lascivious touching with minors.

The baseball coach was identified as Samuel Enrique Figueroa, D.O.B 1/19/1980. Further investigation and interviews yielded several other female juvenile victims, ages 15 to 18 years of age, who also attend Celebration High School.

Based on the investigation, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Special Crimes Unit obtained arrest warrants for Samuel Enrique Figueroa for:

  • Lewd and Lascivious Molestation,
  • Lewd and Lascivious Conduct,
  • Sexual Performance by a Child,
  • Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device,
  • Offenses Against Students by Authority Figures,
  • Indecent, Lewd, or Lascivious Touching of Certain Minors.

Further investigation and charges are forthcoming. Mr. Figueroa is currently incarcerated in the Osceola County Department of Corrections. We asked anyone who has had an encounter with Mr. Figueroa that made them feel uncomfortable to don’t hesitate to contact our office at (407) 348-2222.
