At approximately 1123hrs, Bellalago Academy was put into a red lockdown in reference to students reporting seeing a gun in a student’s backpack. The student was quickly identified. and secured. After a thorough search, an SRO reported that a gun had been found in a classroom by a substitute teacher. The gun was a BB or airsoft CO2 pistol all black in color. The Gun has been secured and charges are pending. No other known threats and this is an isolated incident. This remains an active investigation.
