On May 13, 1997, at approximately 1:30 AM, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of I-4 near mile marker 61 in reference to a vehicle on fire. After the fire was put out, a body was located in the vehicle, who was later identified as Mary Traversa of Plant City. The victim had been shot and was believed to have been driving home from work
