Captain Ruben Pacheco –
Support Services Division

Captain Ruben Pacheco graduated from Osceola High School in 1986 and has an Associates in Science Degree in Criminal Justice.  He is a Desert Shield and Desert Storm Combat Veteran and then began his Law Enforcement Career with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office in 1993.  He has served as a Field Training Officer, Community Response Team Member, and as a Detective with the Criminal Investigation Unit.  He was promoted to Sergeant in February of 2001 serving with the Surveillance Narcotics and Gang Unit, Field Training Unit, Community Service Unit, and School Resource Unit. He has also been the Emergency Response Gas Team Leader and Hostage Negotiation Squad Leader.  He was promoted to Captain by Sheriff Russell Gibson and currently oversees the Support Services Division which includes Communications, 9-1-1 Addressing, Fleet Maintenance, and Community Services.
