Update to Fire/Death Investigation on Primero Dr
Osceola County, Florida – Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the incident on Primero Drive as a murder/suicide. The Medical Examiner’s report shows both Darrell Lee Rogers, 47, and Jean Marhefka-Rogers, 72, died of apparent gunshot wounds. The evidence inside the residence indicates Darrell shot his wife before turning the gun on himself. Detectives also have reason to believe Darrell set the fire which destroyed the mobile home.
On January 23 at approximately 5:55 a.m., Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies and Osceola County Fire Rescue responded to 2497 Primero Drive in the Siesta Lago Mobile Home Park in Kissimmee. Fire Rescue located a male deceased inside the residence and a female with critical injuries. The female was transported to a local hospital and died a short time later. The Medical Examiner’s Office have confirmed the identities of the two individuals who died on Primero Drive in Kissimmee. They are married couple, Darrell Lee Rogers, 47, and Jean Marhefka-Rogers, 72.
