Two Suspects Arrested for Armed Robbery
Osceola County, Florida – On April 24 at approximately 2:12 a.m., Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 7-Eleven located at 5880 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim who indicated he was outside of the 7-Eleven when two suspects walked up behind him. One suspect placed what the victim thought was a gun against his back. The suspect told him not to move and demanded money and personal items. The victim gave the suspects his backpack and the suspect left the area in a taxi cab. The victim also told deputies he thought he recognized the voice of one of the suspects.
Detectives contacted local taxi cab companies and discovered the two suspects, later identified as Yancarlo Santos-Hernandez and Robert Bonilla were taken to the Econolodge located at 4669 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee. They made contact with Hernandez and Bonilla and brought them in for questioning. Neither suspects cooperated with the investigation, but based on the victim’s statement and the evidence, Hernandez and Bonilla were arrested and charged with Armed Robbery and Grand Theft.
