Taxi Cab Driver Robbed
Osceola County, Florida – Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives need the public’s help identifying two suspects who robbed a taxi cab driver.
On January 24 at approximately 2:35 p.m., deputies responded to Walmart located at 3250 Vineland Road in Kissimmee. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with a taxi cab driver who indicated he was sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot. Two unknown males approached him and asked for a ride to the Old Town/Fun Spot area. He told them to go to the first taxi in the line. They left and a few minutes later returned. One of the suspects pulled out a handgun from his jacket and demanded the taxi cab driver’s money. The two suspects left the area with an undisclosed amount of money.
The first suspect is described as a thin Hispanic male in his late teens or early 20’s, approximately 5’3” tall with black chin hair. He was wearing an old, blue zip up jacket and a hat. The second suspect is described as a heavy set, white male, approximately 5’4” with no facial hair. He was wearing a dark colored heavy jacket.
