Suspect Arrested for Numerous Sex Battery Charges

Osceola County, Florida – Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives have arrested Norberto Valderrama and charged him with 12 counts of Transmission of Harmful Materials to Minors, 4 counts of Capital Sexual Battery (domestic), 5 counts of Sexual Battery by Custodian, Attempted Sexual Battery, 12 counts of Lewd & Lascivious Molestation/Exhibition, Use of a Computer to Seduce/Lure a Child. The investigation began on October 25 when deputies took a report from an 11-year old victim and a 13-year old victim. They indicated they told their mother Norberto Valderrama sexually battered and inappropriately touched them on multiple occasions. The also said he sent them inappropriate photos and videos.

Valderrama was brought in for questioning but did not cooperate with the investigation. Initially, he denied having photos of himself, but later said he did but only sent them to his girlfriends. He denied having sex with the victims and told deputies they were making up the story to get him in trouble. Based on the statements and evidence, Valderrama was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail. The investigation is on-going with additional charges pending.
