Suspect Arrested for Capital Sexual Battery

Osceola County, Florida – On June 15, Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Carlos Salazar and charged him with 3 counts of Capital Sexual Battery. The investigation began in late April when deputies received information regarding possible sexual abuse. The 13-year old victim told deputies Carlos Salazar, a relative, sexually battered her and inappropriately touched her several times when she was between 9 years old and 12 years old while they were living in Osceola County.

Based on the victim’s statements and evidence, deputies obtained a felony warrant for his arrest. On June 15, detectives located Salazar at this residence, 768 Hacienda Circle in Kissimmee. He was arrested for 3 counts of Capital Sexual Battery and booked into the Osceola County Jail with no bond.
