Student Arrested for Making Bomb Threats

Osceola County, Florida – This morning at approximately 3:10 a.m., Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies received information a student who attends Gateway High School possibly made bomb threats on social media. After further investigation, deputies were able to identify Dinoshka Colon, 16 as the student. They made contact with Colon and her mother at their residence. Colon cooperated with the investigation and told deputies she posted on Twitter, statements indicating a bomb threat at Gateway High School because she was angry and did not want to go to school.

As a precaution, deputies searched Gateway High School but found nothing suspicious. Prior to school beginning, deputies cleared the scene and there was no disruption to normal school activities.

Based on Colon’s statements, she was arrested and charged with False Report of a Bomb, a second degree felony. She was booked into the Orange County Juvenile Detention Center.
