Shooting Investigation

Osceola County (July 6, 2019), On July 5, 2019, at around 7:00 P.M. deputies responded to 1311 Santa Rosa Drive in reference to a shooting. Deputies found a victim, later identified as Harold Jones III D.O.B. 6/17/88, located in front of the building with an apparent gunshot wound. Jones was transported to Orlando Health Emergency and was pronounced deceased shortly thereafter. The suspect has been described as a black male, 200lbs, 5’08”-5’10”, with no facial hair, short black hair, and was last seen wearing a black bandana, shorts, black t-shirt, and slippers/slides. The suspect was armed with a silver and black handgun and fled the scene in a black 4-door sedan, possibly a newer model Nissan Altima, with tinted windows and after-market rims. The suspect vehicle, pictured above, was observed leaving the complex at a high rate of speed.
Detectives believe this is an isolated incident and there is no further threat to the immediate public. This is an active investigation and no additional information is available at this time.
