Public’s Help Needed to Identify Robbery Suspect
Osceola County, Florida – Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives need the public’s help identifying an armed robbery suspect. On August 28 at approximately 12:43 a.m. deputies responded to a residence on Campus Street in Celebration. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victims who indicated they were exiting their vehicle when an unknown male approached the driver and demanded money at gunpoint. The driver refused to give the suspect any money. The suspect grabbed the victim’s arm as he was trying to get out of the vehicle. As the suspect was fleeing the area, he turned around and pointed the gun at the victims. No one was injured during the incident. Deputies, with the assistance of the K-9 Unit and Aviation Unit, assisted in the search but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20’s, approximately 5’7”-5’10 tall and 165-175 lbs. He was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with dark colored jeans and black sneakers.
