Occupied Burglary with Battery Alert (Update)

Osceola County (June 14, 2019) On 6/13/19 at approximately 8:30 P.M. deputies with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to the WaWa gas station located at 2184 East Irlo Bronson Highway, in reference to an occupied burglary with a battery therein. The victim advised she pulled into the parking lot next to a gas pump to get gas. Moments later an unknown male approached her vehicle while she was sitting in the driver’s seat and opened her door. The suspect pushed his way into the vehicle and battered her. The suspect did not say anything and fled the area after the victim began to fight back. The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic light-skinned male in his 20’s or 30’s with light brown hair, dark brown eyes, sunken cheekbones, and a thin athletic build. The suspect vehicle is possibly a 2004 to 2008 white Acura TL with tinted windows, sunroof, and spoiler. The vehicle exited the parking lot and traveled eastbound towards the Florida Turnpike.


On June 20, 2019, Detectives with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect from this incident. During the course of the investigation, Noel Rivera (DOB: 5/20/92) was identified as the suspect in this case. The suspect was located and contacted on 6/20/19 and agreed to be interviewed. At the conclusion of the interview, Rivera confessed that it was indeed him at the WaWa gas station driving the white Acura on June 13, 2019. Rivera was subsequently arrested and charged with Occupied Burglary and Battery.

Their excellent investigative skills and relentless pursuit of identifying the suspect led to the arrest of this suspect.
