Two Homicide Arrests | Victim Identified
On March 4, 2017, Osceola County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a shooting call in the area of 2700 Michigan Avenue in Kissimmee, Florida. Upon their arrival, they found an adult male fatally wounded. The male victim has been identified as Darvis Houston of Kissimmee. The investigation revealed that two masked males entered the building and robbed the victim after posing as law enforcement officers. A struggle ensued and the victim was shot and fatally wounded.
After a complete and thorough investigation, detectives from the Osceola Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit were able to identify and obtain probable cause to arrest Christopher Brooks, D.O.B. 5/7/87, and Chrisson Nicolaas, D.O.B. 7/20/86, for First Degree Murder in this case.
