Fraud & Exploitation of an Elderly Person
Osceola County (February 27, 2020) On February 26, 2020, an elderly victim was defrauded out of $10,000.00
during a phone scam. The suspect(s) on the call advised the victim that her grandson was arrested and needed
$10,000 to bond out. The victim agreed to provide the funds and withdrew the money. After the victim
obtained the funds, the suspects informed her they would send someone to her residence to retrieve the
money. Later that same day, an unknown subject, pictured below, arrived at the victim’s residence and
collected the $10,000.00. The victim later discovered the incident was a scam and that her grandson had not
been arrested. There is no vehicle information available at this time.

holding those criminals responsible that take advantage of our most vulnerable residents. The Osceola County
Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who can help identify this suspect or has any information on this case or any

8477, where information leading to a felony arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 dollars.
