Detectives Investigating Suspicious Incident in Indian Ridge Oaks Subdivision in Kissimmee

Osceola County, Florida – Osceola County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating a suspicious incident in the Indian Ridge Oaks subdivision in Kissimmee. On June 21 at approximately 7:15 p.m., deputies responded to the area of Water Oak Court in Kissimmee. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the complainant who indicated her daughter was walking home from a neighborhood park with several children when they observed a suspicious vehicle possibly following them. The daughter attempted to approach the vehicle, but the driver left the area at a high rate of speed. Patrol deputies and the Aviation Unit searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

The individual driving the vehicle is described as a male in his 50’s. The vehicle he was driving was possibly a sliver, four-door Honda with dark tinted windows.

At this time there are no criminal charges, but detectives would like to speak with the male to clarify his intentions. This incident is not related to any other suspicious incidents’ reported last week. Anyone with information is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at (407) 348-2222 or Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS (8477).
