Detectives Investigating Homicide in Poinciana

Osceola County, Florida – On July 24 at approximately 7:46 p.m., Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Cypress Parkway and Country Club Drive in Poinciana in reference to a single car accident. The car, a gold Chrysler Sebring, had hit a tree. Upon arrival, deputies located the driver, a 32-year old male. He had sustained life-threatening injuries that were not consistent with the car accident. The driver was transported to Osceola Regional Medical Center where he died a short time later.

At this time, detectives have not released the victim’s identity or the cause of death, but they are investigating the incident as a homicide. Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen the gold Chrysler Sebring or been in the area near Vance Harmon Park last night between 7 p.m and 8 p.m. to call law enforcement.
