Additional Charges for David Eugene McClenney
Osceola County, Florida – On December 16, Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives obtained a felony warrant to charge David Eugene McClenney with Kidnapping and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. McClenney was originally arrested for Impersonating a Law Enforcement Officer and Impersonating a Medic on December 10, 2015.. After the information regarding those cases were made public last week, another victim contacted the Sheriff’s Office regarding his encounter with McClenney.
The 15-year old victim told deputies he met McClenney two or three months ago at a football field and, at the time, McClenney introduced himself as a law enforcement officer. In November, the victim was visiting a friend’s house when he saw McClenney again. They were joking with McClenney when he became upset and threatened to shoot the victim. McClenney held the victim against his will and placed a BB gun to the victim’s head and told him he could kill him and get away with it because he was “a cop.” The victim thought the BB gun was a firearm.
The victim saw McClenney’s arrest on the news last week and contacted law enforcement regarding this incident. Based on his statements, a warrant was obtained for McClenney. He was located at his residence and arrested for Kidnapping and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and booked into the Osceola County Jail with no bond.
