Osceola County, Florida – Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives have arrested Jesus Rodriguez and charged him with 19 counts of Manufacturing and Possessing Child Pornography, 1 count of Sexual Battery of a Child, 1 count of Lewd & Lascivious Battery and 4 counts of Unlawful Sex with Certain Minors. The investigation began in early September when deputies received information of possible sexual battery. The victim in that investigation was a relative under the age of 12, and based on the evidence in that case, Rodriguez was charged with 25 counts of Sexual Battery.

In mid-September, another victim came forward with allegation of sexual battery. The 19-year old victim told detectives when she was 15-years old Rodriguez forced her to have sex. She indicated he sexually battered her several more times for several more years.

On October 13, detectives brought Rodriguez in for questioning. He cooperated with the investigation and told investigators he had taken videos of his sexual encounters with the then, 15-year old victim. He denied taking advantage of the victim, but told detectives the relationship was consensual. Based on his statements and the evidence, Rodriguez was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail. Detectives are currently interviewing more potential victims and the investigation is on-going with additional charges pending.

Anyone who has had contact with Rodriguez is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at (407) 348-2222 or Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS (8477). Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous, and tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 dollars.
