Chief Deputy

Chief Deputy John A. Haydel has over 37 years of law enforcement experience. He has served with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office for over 32 years.
Chief Deputy Haydel has served in the Patrol Division as a Deputy, Field Training Officer, Field Training Sergeant, and Lieutenant. He served in the Criminal Investigations Division as a Sergeant over the Tac Unit and the Property Crimes Unit and a Lieutenant over the Criminal Investigations Division. Chief Haydel has also served as a Narcotics Agent with the Osceola County Investigative Bureau and a Lieutenant over the Training Division and Special Operations Division.
Chief Deputy is a graduate of the Command Officers Development Course, as well as several leadership courses.
He is married with three children. He loves to fish and hike.
