Every year the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office holds the E.P. Murphy Golf Classic in efforts to raise money for the Osceola Sheriff’s Adventure Camp, one of many of our Youth Programs. The generosity and the support of our community and business leaders; are what allows us to make it possible to provide the Adventure Camp program to the youth of our community.
The goal of the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Adventure Camp is to keep children in school and away from criminal activity while creating positive relationships with law enforcement. Since June 1995 the Adventure Camp; has offered middle school aged boys and girls activities that develop understanding and tolerance through valuing individual differences. Connecting with others while working towards a common goal. Campers strengthen their self-esteem, discipline, and self-worth. Children attend the program for one week, however, the friendships made and the qualities instilled during the experience last a lifetime.
Through activities and team building games, participants develop an understanding and tolerance through valuing individual differences and connecting with others while working towards a common goal. Campers strengthen their self-esteem, discipline, and self-worth.
