Basic Citizens Academy

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office invites Osceola County residents to apply for the upcoming session of the Basic Citizens Academy, beginning June 17th, 2025.
This free 12-week program offers participants a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the operations of the Sheriff’s Office. Through weekly evening classes, attendees will explore various divisions and specialized units, gain real-world insights into law enforcement, and engage in interactive, hands-on activities.
Whether you’re interested in public safety, considering a career in law enforcement, or want to understand how we serve our community, this academy is for you!
