Ryan Potts

Director, IMS

Ryan Potts joined the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office family in 2006 and has dedicated the past 15 years to delivering Law Enforcement Technology. He has served in many IT-focused roles during his tenure including IT Analyst, IT Supervisor, and IT Manager. In his current role as IT Director, he serves the Sheriff and his Administration in providing strategic oversight of agency-wide information technology services and goals.

Ryan obtained his bachelor’s degree with honors in computer information systems from the Florida Institute of Technology and an associate degree in computer engineering technologies from Valencia College. In 2018 he completed the Public Safety Leadership Development program from Valencia College.

He is married to his beautiful wife Mary and has three grown children. He loves diverse food, traveling, camping, and most importantly supporting his second family at the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. It has been his continued honor to serve and support the agency and the community of Osceola County.
