Burglary Call Leads to Grow House on Floral Drive

Osceola County, Florida - On January 24 at approximately 8:50 p.m., Osceola County Sheriff's deputies responded to 487 Floral Drive in Buenaventura Lakes. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with a neighbor who indicated he was sitting on his front porch when he saw an unknown male kick in the door at 487 Floral Drive, the house across the street from him. Several minutes later, he observed the man leave the house with unknown items.

When deputies entered the house, they discovered a grow house with approximately 39 plants and an elaborate electrical system. Upon further investigation they learned the house is being leased. No arrests have been made at this time and the Osceola County Investigative Bureau is investigating the incident.
