Detectives Need Public's Help in Identifying Armed Carjacking Suspect in Poinciana

Osceola County, Florida - Osceola County Sheriff's detectives need the public's help in identifying an armed carjacking suspect. The investigation began January 7 at approximately 11:41 p.m. when deputies responded to 516 Kilimanjaro Drive in Poinciana. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim who indicated he was at the intersection of Kilimanjaro Drive and Hunter Road driving his gold, 2000, Land Rover Discovery when an unknown male waved at him. He rolled down his window and the suspect pulled out a handgun and told the victim to get out of the car. He fled the area in the victim's vehicle traveling towards KOA Road.

The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweater and black baseball cap. 

Anyone with information regarding the suspect or stolen Land Rover with Florida tag#F351BZ is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff's Office at (407) 348-2222 or Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS (8477). Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous, and tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 dollars.
