Detectives Need Public's Help in Identifying Perkins Armed Robbery Suspect

Osceola County, Florida - Osceola County Sheriff's detectives need the public's help in identifying two armed robbery suspects. The investigation began on January 22 at approximately 1:09 a.m. when deputies responded to Perkins Restaurant located at 5170 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the store manager who indicated two men walked into the restaurant, identified themselves as employees with ADT, showed him identification and asked to speak with the manager. They told the manager they were working on the security system and asked him to go to outside with them. When he walked outside, he saw what appeared to be work cables and a 4-door hatchback vehicle. The suspects took the manager into the office at gunpoint and demanded money from the safe. They left the area with an undisclosed amount of money. This all occurred in the back of the restaurant, so employees and customers were unaware of the incident.

The first suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male, approximately 6'0”, 240 lbs. The second suspect is described as a black male or Hispanic male, 5'10” approximately 200 lbs. Both suspects were wearing construction worker clothing which included reflective traffic style vest and hard hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff's Office at (407) 348-2222 or Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS (8477). Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous, and tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 dollars.
