G.R.E.A.T. stands for Gang Resistance Education and Training. School Resource Officers certified in G.R.E.A.T. conduct the nine-week program for seventh grade students. The program’s goal is to reduce gang activity, and to educate a population of young people about the consequences of gang involvement.
