School Resource Officer Program
The youth of today are tomorrow's future. School Resource Officers are assigned, on a full-time basis, to the county's elementary, middle and high schools. Their goal is to build a better relationship between our young people and the law enforcement community. In addition to providing a law enforcement function, school resource officers provide crime prevention education in the classroom and act as a resource person for children to access when dealing with the perplexing problems they face today.
